Sedimentary rocks form when partials of sediment are deposited from water, air or ice. After time the sediment deposit forms layers at the bottom of lakes and oceans. Sedimentary rocks can be red, brown or gray. They are usually foliated or have other little rock in them.
Sedimentary rocks can be used for clay, bricks, soap, and for construction material.
